A Spike in Interest for NFL's Tax-exempt Status

The National Football League, which has annual revenues of $9.5 billion and growing, is listed as a not-for-profit enterprise, and is therefore tax-exempt. The key thing to keep in mind is the league is tax-exempt, but the 32 individual clubs in it are not.

Because of this, there has been a spike in interest over the NFL and other trade organizations on whether or not they deserve to be tax-exempt.
