Maryland will hold its annual sales tax holiday August 11-17, 2019. During this time, eligible clothing, footwear and accessories are exempt from Maryland’s 6% state sales tax rate.
During the tax-free week, the below items are sales tax exempt with the following conditions:
Retailers can issue discounts or coupons to reduce the sales price of an item to $100 or less, which will then qualify it for the exemption.
