Connecticut Holds Annual Week-Long Sales Tax Holiday 2021
Connecticut will hold its annual week-long sales tax holiday August 15-21, 2021, giving shoppers the opportunity to purchase clothing and footwear free of state sales tax.
From August 15-21, 2021, Connecticut will hold its annual sales tax holiday. During this time select clothing and footwear with a purchase price of $100 or less will be exempt from the states sales and use tax.
Items normally sold as a unit (for example, a pair of mittens) must be sold as a pair. They cannot be sold separately as individual items to qualify for the exclusion.
