Point of Rental Announces Partnership with Global Tax Specialist Vertex

Point of Rental Software announced its new partnership with Vertex, a global provider of tax technology solutions. The Point of Rental Elite dashboard will now be integrated with Vertex Cloud Indirect Tax, a SaaS tax solution that automates the end-to-end indirect tax process. Initially Vertex will support calculations in North America. but plans on expanding to support global VAT transactions.  

The integration between Vertex Cloud and Elite enables tax, accounting and finance resources at rental businesses serving many areas to spend less time managing complex and constantly changing tax codes across jurisdictions. The solution applies the latest taxability rates and rules to transactions in real-time and produces signature-ready returns, providing users with a seamless tax determination process.
