We offer a variety of ways to experience our world-class training.

We offer a variety of ways to experience our world-class training. Options include web-based virtual training and self-paced courses, as well as in-person classes at your office or at one of our off-site locations. To make sure you're getting the most from your investments in technology, we've put together basic information around policies and guidelines for our training classes.

 CPE

CPE Credits

Vertex Inc. is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State Boards of Accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual course for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

Credits will be awarded to attendees upon the completion of each course. Students will receive one credit for each full 50-minute hour of course participation.

Training Policies

Attendee substitutions from within your company may be made at any time.  All requests for a substitution must be made in writing on your company’s letterhead and should include the following information:

  • Name of the person scheduled to attend
  • Name of person who will be attending
  • Customer ID number
  • Class number
  • Class date
  • Class name

You can reschedule for another class up to three days prior to the class start date. All requests to reschedule another class must be made in writing on your company’s letterhead and should include the following information:

  • Name of the person scheduled to attend
  • Name of person who will be attending
  • Customer ID number
  • Class number
  • Class date
  • Class name

We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled regional or web class at our discretion. In the event a class is canceled, we will contact you immediately to arrange for another class date or a refund of the class fee paid.

Please be advised that we are not responsible for fees incurred for travel, such as nonrefundable airline tickets or other travel accommodation cancellation fees that result from cancellation of a class.

If it is necessary for you to make a cancellation, please note our following cancellation policies.

All cancellations must be made in writing on your company’s letterhead and should include the following information:

  • Name of the person scheduled to attend
  • Customer ID number
  • Class number
  • Class date
  • Class name

No cancellation fee is charged if notice is received by Vertex within 72 hours after the attendee’s registration confirmation is faxed or e-mailed (“confirmation period”).

Cancellations made after the 72 hours confirmation period will receive a credit for the same course, which will expire 1 year after the date of issuance.

In the event that a registrant cancels and does not reschedule within at least 15 business days prior to the cancelled class start date, such registrant will be charged the full course fee or a training credit will be applied to cover the cancellation.  Registrants who do not provide cancellation notice for the class will either be charged the full course fee, or where provided, outstanding training credit will be applied to cover the course fee.

Refunds are provided if a cancellation notice is received by Vertex within 72 hours after the attendee’s registration confirmation is faxed or emailed (“confirmation period”).

All requests for refunds must be made in writing on your company’s letterhead and should include the following information:

  • Name of the person scheduled to attend
  • Customer ID number
  • Class number
  • Class date
  • Class name

Refunds are also provided when we cancel a scheduled class. Refunds for a canceled class will be handled as follows:

You will receive an email notification that we have canceled a class. Alternate class dates will be provided for the same class. If you choose to register for an alternate class, you will receive an email and registration confirmation for the new class. 

If we do not receive a new registration request within 10 business days, a refund will be processed as follows:

  • Payment not received: the invoice will be canceled
  • Payment received:  a check for the class fee will be mailed to the Accounts Payable Department of your company

Directions from the Philadelphia International Airport

Follow signs for I-95 South. Take I-95 South to exit #7, I-476 North and follow to I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) West. Take the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) west to exit #327, Mall Boulevard. Bear right at the first light onto Mall Blvd. Turn right at the next light onto North Gulph Road and proceed approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right onto First Avenue and stay in left hand lane. Turn left into the parking lot at the Parkview Tower entrance. The ExitCertified facility is located on the second floor of the Parkview Tower, right next to the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge.

There is ample free parking located in the front of the building.

Transportation Options from the Philadelphia International Airport:

The training center is approximately 20 miles from the Philadelphia International Airport. There is no direct public transportation from the airport to the training center. The following transportation options are available to get to our training center from the airport: car rental, shuttle service, Uber, or Lyft.

Tropiano Shuttle Service

Reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance by calling (800) 559-2040. Shuttles depart from the Airport Ground Transportation Area every 30 minutes from 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight). The shuttle will drop off in front of the Radisson Hotel. From the hotel lobby, follow the signs to the Parkview Tower.

Turn onto Metrowest Blvd toward the large Metrowest sign. At the second red light, turn right onto Metrocenter Blvd. MicroTek is in the second building on the right, a 4-story beige office building with "Pearson" in blue lettering at the top.

Take Harbor Drive from the Airport east to Fifth Avenue turn left (north). Take Fifth Avenue three blocks and turn right (east) on J Street.
