Vertex Responds to Bash Vulnerability

Berwyn, PA

Vertex Inc., today announced that upon receiving word of the Bash shell vulnerability, it determined that its products and services are not vulnerable and pose no risk of exposure to customers.

Vertex clients who utilize Unix or Linux operating systems to run Vertex software in their environments, may be vulnerable. Vertex recommends that these clients check with any vendor(s) that support their operating systems for steps to mitigate risk and update patches.
