Celebrating Impact: Global Week of Service at Vertex

Strong communities help businesses thrive. At Vertex, we’re proud to support the places where we live and work through our Global Week of Service. This annual, company-wide initiative unites our teams to give back and have fun doing it!

From June 2-6, team members around the world are stepping away from their desks and into their communities— sharing their time, talents, and hearts to make a positive impact.

How We’re Making a Difference 

Here’s a glimpse at what’s happening this week:

  • 24+ cities across 3 continents participating
  • 54 charities and organisations supported
  • 700+ individuals donating their time
  • 9 virtual events hosted

Our teams volunteered at local food banks, organised community clean-up events and participated in virtual workshops to support mental health awareness. We also collaborated with educational institutions to provide tutoring and mentorship programmes for students. 

Why It Matters

Our commitment to service goes far beyond a single week though! We are deeply invested in philanthropy and community engagement. Over the past decade, Vertex and our employees have donated thousands of hours and more than $4 million to corporate partners and organisations around the world. In 2024 alone, we supported over 150 organisations, planted 17,000 trees in the Vertex Forest and had over 640 participants in our Global Week of Service. By fostering long-term partnerships and engaging in fun, meaningful activities, we try to make a positive impact in our communities.

Our dedication to service mirrors the way we approach complex tax challenges: thoughtfully, collaboratively and always striving for excellence. We value our strong partnerships and continuously look for opportunities to positively impact our communities, especially at our annual conference – Vertex Exchange.
