How We Do It

Our Enterprise Resource Groups (ERGs) are a vital component of the Inclusion & Belonging strategy and support efforts to ensure employees from various backgrounds, experiences, cultures, and locations have a place to build community, develop personally and professionally, impact business priorities and enhance our culture. ERGs are open to all employees and they help us have some fun, too.

Celebrating Black excellence.

Inspired by the Sankofa principle, “it is not taboo to go back and fetch what is at risk of being left behind,” we support a collective workplace culture that values inclusion, advocacy, and psychological safety. Through inclusive programming that celebrates the legacy of the African American and Black experience, we foster connection, learning, and growth that enriches our global organization.

Prioritizing employees' health.

To foster a global culture of well-being at Vertex by empowering all employees to prioritize their mental, physical, emotional, and social health. Through awareness, connection, and support, we aim to help individuals bring their best selves to work, creating stronger collaboration, higher performance, and a more engaged workforce worldwide.

GenNOW fosters meaningful connections across all generations by cultivating shared experiences, elevating visibility, and encouraging active engagement. Fuerza Latina celebrates Latino, Hispanic, and Lusophone cultures by cultivating a vibrant global community that honors heritage, language, and shared traditions. The group strengthens workplace culture through cultural storytelling, connection, and inclusive engagement.

Champion an inclusive environment by elevating women’s experiences, encouraging connection and dialogue that amplifies various perspectives through collaboration and meaningful engagement.

VALORS is an Employee Resource Group dedicated to the merging of U.S. and International civilian and military resources, interests, education, and support of Vertex employees, their families, and the greater military/civilian community at large.

Uplifting Asian voices.

LOTUS is committed to fostering an empowering environment for all employees by promoting cultural awareness about Asian cultures, professional development, and community engagement. Through mentorship and collaboration, we aim to elevate the voices of all employees, enhance leadership, and contribute to Vertex’s mission of enabling businesses to thrive.

We're committed to fair treatment, safe working conditions, and respect for human rights throughout our entire network, including our partners and suppliers. We carefully select partners and suppliers who share these same priorities and values as defined within our Code Of Ethics and Conduct. Because doing business the right way is our only way.

Trust is critical to everything we do.

  • Our customers trust us with some of their most valuable resources including their privacy and their data. We take that responsibility seriously.
  • Our top priority is keeping our customers’ data secure. We employ rigorous security measures at the organizational, architectural, and operational levels to ensure that their data, applications and infrastructure remain safe. Where appropriate, we provide independent third-party audit reports such as Service Organization Control (SOC) 1 and SOC 2, as well as certifications to ISO 27001.
  • Our customers’ privacy is also crucial. We pay critical attention to our responsibilities and obligations as a data processor and strongly support regulations that protect the cross-border transfer of personal data. We also support our customers in meeting their own GDPR compliance requirements.
