Now available in the SAP Concur App Center, Vertex will provide businesses using SAP Concur solutions with the ability to automate and help ensure accurate consumer use tax calculations on every expense transaction.
As more products and services become taxable, tax structures become increasingly complex, especially when it comes to calculating consumer use tax in critical business functions such as accruals, asset and goods management and purchase orders. Due to varying and ever-changing regulations across thousands of jurisdictions, companies can no longer manage taxes manually. Through this scalable integration, Vertex provides businesses using SAP Concur solutions with up-to-date rates and rules across North America, automated calculations and signature-ready PDF returns.

The integration works to ensure ease of use and maximum accuracy between the two solutions. Vertex determines the tax charged on an invoice and delivers the right rate each time. If a vendor doesn’t charge appropriate tax, Vertex accrues the correct tax on the invoice. Concur Invoice reconciles the differences and pushes that information through to the company’s ERP or accounting system.
