Vertex Announces Integration with Infor OS ION API Gateway to Simplify End-to-End Tax Management

Vertex, Inc., a leading provider of tax technology and services, announced an integration between Vertex Cloud Indirect Tax and Infor ION applications. Vertex is one of the first tax technology providers to integrate with Infor OS ION API Gateway, providing customers with access to automated sales tax calculations, as well as signature-ready returns.

Built into Infor OS, the ION API gateway provides internal and external access to web, mobile and server-based applications, enabling customers to keep up with digital transformation. This new integration enables Infor ION to access Vertex APIs from their existing Infor interoperability ecosystem, providing them with a single point of control and a uniform proxy layer. Customer benefits include enterprise-grade features of the ION API gateway such as orchestrations, security access and policy enforcement, which defend against threats such as denial of service (DNS) attacks or control overuse of APIs via throttling.
