Vertex Consolidates Locations in Montgomery County

Vertex, Inc., the leading provider of corporate tax solutions, today announced that it will consolidate its operations from seven separate buildings in the Berwyn area into one central location in King of Prussia, Montgomery County, and create 225 new jobs at the new national headquarters location. The new office will be approximately 7.5 miles from its current location in Berwyn, PA.

“The decision to move was the result of a thorough multi-year process that included research, employee focus groups, and careful consideration of our progressive culture and strategic vision,” said Lainie Sitko, Director of Workplace Strategy at Vertex. “Instead of being dispersed among seven buildings throughout the area, everyone will now be located in the same building, supporting the unique, collaborative work environment that sets Vertex apart from other organizations.”

For Vertex, the new office space means advancing the company’s workplace strategy and includes new amenities for employees, as well as room for future growth. Vertex will occupy close to five floors in a multi-tenant office building owned by Liberty Property Trust in Philadelphia’s western suburbs, at 2301 Renaissance Boulevard, King of Prussia.

“We were fortunate to find a property that fits all of our needs and is so close to our current office,” said Sitko. “We really wanted to limit the impact that relocation could have on our employees. The new space will enable us to grow and evolve as we continue providing exceptional value to our expanding client base, while positively contributing to the economy in the King of Prussia area.”

Vertex received a funding proposal based upon its projected job growth over the next five years from the Department of Community and Economic Development. The project was coordinated by the Governor’s Action Team, a group of experienced economic development professionals that works with companies looking to establish new business operations in Pennsylvania or who are considering retention and/or expansion of existing Pennsylvania operations.
