KPMG and Vertex Alliance Helps Clients with Global Indirect Tax Compliance

We are pleased to have entered into an alliance with KPMG LLP, the US audit, tax, and advisory firm.

This relationship, which we officially announced back on August 8, blends KPMG’s tax services and global indirect tax experience with Vertex’s tax technology to help companies more effectively address their global indirect tax reporting and operations requirements. We believe that our combined expertise will help clients manage tax risk and exposure related to audit adjustments, potential indirect tax fraud and revenue loss, as well as increase the effectiveness and quality of business systems underpinning the transactions that give rise to tax obligations.

Brian Stromen, KPMG’s US leader for State and Local Tax, did a great job explaining the rationale for our alliance: “By coupling tax technology solutions from Vertex that have a specific industry focus, such as the telecommunications industry, with KPMG’s complementary industry tax compliance insight and technical knowledge, the alliance provides the marketplace with a prominent solution that meets the evolving tax challenges of today and tomorrow.”
