Vertex Celebrates Expansion into New Facility with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Vertex Inc.,the leading provider of corporate enterprise tax solutions,recently hosted the Main Line Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the opening of a new office facility located in Chesterbrook, Pa with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The office is an expansion of the company’s corporate headquarters and operations located in Suburban Philadelphia and houses Vertex’s Customer Support, Tax Research, and Procedural Design and Development teams.

Vertex Chief Executive Officer, Jeff Westphal, and Main Line Chamber of Commerce President Bernie Dagenais officially unveiled the 35,000 square foot facility located on Liberty Ridge Drive on March 15,along with an audience of Vertex employees, Main Line Chamber of Commerce members and local media.

Currently, Vertex employs over 800 employees across the US, Europe and South America, 576 of which are based in the Greater Philadelphia region. The new facility opening comes as the company continues to ramp up recruitment of regional talent to support increased demand for company’s enterprise level corporate tax software and services. This includes increased sales of the company’s industry leading platform for corporate, indirect tax management, Vertex® Indirect Tax O Series and Managed Services like Returns Outsourcing. Additionally,the company anticipates significant growth from its breakthrough solution for corporate income tax, Vertex® Enterprise.

The planning and layout of the new office was done in collaboration with employees, who provide input on the layout of the floor plan including individual work spaces,team rooms, and furniture selection. The final result incorporates collaborative meeting rooms, updated work spaces, centralized resources, and even an area for decompressing during stressful work times.
