Vertex Leaders David DeStefano and David Deputy Host Learning Lab at Digital Economy Symposium

Vertex, Inc. is the platinum sponsor of the Digital Economy Symposium, being held August 15-16, in Singapore. Vertex President and CEO David DeStefano and Director of Strategic Development and Emerging Markets David Deputy will also be hosting a learning lab on applying technology to tax.

In their learning lab, Deputy and DeStefano, along with PwC Singapore’s Partner of Digital Tax Services Ching Ne Tan, will use live demonstrations to describe and showcase the latest solutions in applying technology to tax. The learning lab will also feature highlights from Deputy’s paper, “Securing the Fisc via Digitization,” which he co-authored with Goran Todorov, managing director at Data Tech International.

The symposium will explore how both business and tax administrators are reacting to and managing the disruptive effect of new and emerging business models and technology in Asia, the taxation of the digital economy in the post-BEPS world and the use of new technology to transform tax.
