Vertex Inc. Launches SaaS Solution for Payroll Tax

Vertex Inc., the leading provider of corporate tax solutions, announced today the launch of a new Software-as-a Service (SaaS) option for the company's leading payroll solution.

The new Vertex Payroll Tax Q Series On-Demand software features minimal up-front costs, reduced implementation time and greatly reduced IT maintenance requirements relative to the traditional on-premise implementation of Vertex Payroll Tax. The on-demand model eliminates the need for companies to take delivery and implement onsite software, manage additional servers, and adhere to a strict monthly update schedule. All monthly updates, as well as new tools, applications and functionality are immediately available to SaaS users.

This new version of the solution also includes a never-before-offered address cleansing solution specifically designed for Payroll Tax On-Demand. Address cleansing provides a higher degree of precision for jurisdiction assignments, and enables clients to convert a street-level address to a single Vertex GeoCode, PSD (Political Sub-Division) Code, and School District Code.
