Expanded Functionality for Vertex Clients who use SAP

Vertex Inc., the leading provider of corporate enterprise tax solutions and services, today announced the launch of the Vertex Indirect Tax Accelerator for SAP ERP platform. The new Vertex Tax Accelerator works with the SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC) to deliver a new level of functionality and process improvements for both domestic and global businesses utilizing SAP tax integration solutions.

Designed specifically for companies running SAP, the Vertex Tax Accelerator is the first result of an expanded partnership with LCR-Dixon to build scalable enterprise solutions for tax and ERP integrations. The Vertex Tax Accelerator for SAP ERP provides SAP clients a simplified solution to address common gaps in the tax determination process, improves the precision of their transaction tax operations and helps to realize a quicker return on their investment with an end-to-end solution. Customers using the Vertex Tax Accelerator with Vertex O Series and SAP ECC can expect a lower cost of ownership through lower IT and consulting involvement in implementing, configuring and managing the entire tax lifecycle.

New SAP customers will receive the Vertex Tax Accelerator as a standard component of the Vertex Indirect Tax O Series solution, which was recently re-certified by SAP. Existing Vertex O Series customers on SAP can also take advantage of the new capabilities by upgrading to the Tax Accelerator and O Series Version 7.0.
