This course focuses on Vertex Communications Tax, Vertex's telecommunications tax compliance system for both wireless and wireline services. This course provides an overview of how the system calculates tax as well as a high-level look at the components and concepts relating to the system.

• Understand the purpose of the Vertex Communications Tax Data and Calculation Modules
• Interpret and use the information contained in the Data Directory

Requirements

You must be an employee of an active Vertex customer or Vertex partner company and have:

• PC experience
• Working knowledge of Windows-based products
• Basic understanding of sales and use tax concepts
• Basic knowledge of your company's tax reporting requirements
