What We Do With Your Information
Once collected, any information about you is kept in a database within the company so we can provide you with the product or service you’re requested, and so that we can also keep you updated about any Vertex news.
From time to time, we may share information with other tax associations which we believe our subscribers would find of interest. Any such publications would always have the option to "opt out."
If at any time you wish to be removed from an email newsletter or print publication, please email email@example.com. Please be specific as possible as to the publication or information from which you’d like to unsubscribe.
Vertex Inc. does contain links to other sites. We cannot be responsible for their content or for any private information you may choose to share with them. We encourage you to read the posted privacy statement whenever interacting with any web site.
Vertex uses industry standard technologies to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our web site. Once we receive your transmission, we will do our best to protect its security on our systems.
We urge you to keep any passwords in a safe place and not to divulge them to anyone. Also remember to sign off any account you use and close your browser window when you have finished your visit. This is to ensure that others cannot access your account, especially if you are sharing a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place such as a library or coffee shop.
We also do everything in our power to protect your information off-line. All customer information and newsletter subscriber information is restricted in our offices. Only employees within Vertex who need information to perform their jobs, (for example, Customer Service Representatives) are allowed access to your personal information. Additionally, the servers where we store personal information are kept in a secure environment.
