Stefanie Westphal Lucas
Board Member
Stevie Lucas, co-owner of Vertex, joined the company in 1991. She is currently Chairperson of the Board and Treasurer. Prior to joining Vertex, she was a vice president at Chemical Bank (now part of Chase) where she specialized in managing the entire banking relationship for middle market companies, including lending and cash management. She served clients in the New York metropolitan area.
Stevie is currently Vice-Chairman on The Foundation Board of Bryn Mawr Hospital, having served on its board since 2003. Bryn Mawr Hospital is a nationally recognized, full service, acute-care teaching hospital. In addition, Stevie currently serves on the Board of the Agnes Irwin School in Rosemont, PA, heading its Trustees Committee. She has been an active member on that Board for seven years.
Stevie earned a Masters of Business Administration in finance from Fordham University and has dual bachelor's degrees in engineering and economics from Lafayette College.
