Vice President, Organizational Capability Services

Jim is Vice President of Organizational Capability Services and leads the work of people in Customer Education, Customer Experience, Organizational Development, and Employee, Team and Leadership Development. He joined Vertex in 1994.

In addition to supporting these groups, Jim is responsible for Vertex's internal strategy - Advantage Vertex - which is an enterprise-wide process to design and build an organization (People, Process, Systems, Structure) capable of delivering on the business strategy.

Jim has been involved in the information technology industry since 1979, and has held leadership positions in computer manufacturing operations management, software product management, corporate strategic marketing and planning, organizational development, and HR before assuming leadership of the new Organizational Capability Services entity in 2009.

Jim holds a B.S. in Management from Oakland University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy.
