A diverse group of top tax and technology professionals came together to explore critical issues impacting global indirect tax management at Vertex Exchange Europe on 17-18 April. We were honored to have two renowned plenary presenters at this year's event.

Dr. Jeffrey Owens has been one of the most influential people in global tax policy over the past two decades. He took a look at the way ahead of global taxation policy, the challenges that countries face and the influences that will help shape the taxation landscape over the next five years.

Katharine Merry, one of Britain's most outstanding female athletes of all time, delivered an inspirational session on just what it takes to be truly world class.

Attendees also received valuable insight through a robust line-up of breakout sessions. Topics included transparency and risk management in the tax world, technology as a catalyst for tax value realization and automating taxes in retail, among others.
