Will I have an opportunity to meet with product experts at the conference? Absolutely. Representatives of our product management team will be on-site at the conference in the Vertex Resource Center |

Are there groups of customers with common interests (i.e. special interest groups) who meet during the conference? Yes, there will be focused sessions and roundtable forums dedicated to specific industries, products and ERP vendors including Oracle, SAP and PeopleSoft. Additionally, our meal times will provide opportunities to meet folks from similar lines of tax, industries, etc. (see Networking Activities page) |
I can't attend the conference; can I buy the transcripts from the event? Due to the nature of the conference and the potential for sensitive discussion to occur, sessions will not be taped or recorded for purchase/distribution. However, presentations from the event will be made available on the Customer Cafe. |
I am bringing my family to Orlando; can I bring them to the dining functions? You may bring family members to the Monday night party - the fee would be $95 per person. They must be 21 or over to attend. Thereafter, all dining functions throughout the remainder of the conference are for attendees only. However, the Royal Pacific Hotel and Universal Studios Orlando offer a variety of great restaurants to choose from for your family to enjoy. |
Are there activities for my spouse/family? Universal Studios Orlando offers many activities for people of all ages. Please go to the section of our website marked "Explore Universal " for more details. You can also ask the concierge at the hotel for information upon arrival. |
| Will you be offering any group airfare discounts to the conference? Due to people's desire to use their own preferred carrier and the many low internet airfares offered, we have found it most cost effective for our attendees to secure their own travel arrangements. |
| I can only attend one day of the conference, is there a single day price? Sorry, there is no one-day price for the conference. |
| Can I get a discount if I send more than one attendee? We've worked to price the conference as reasonable as possible for every attendee. Therefore, there is one low registration fee for all who attend. However, if you sign up before July 31 you can receive a $100 discount per person. |
| What is the room rate to stay at the hotel? Vertex has blocked rooms for the 2007 Exchange at the Royal Pacific Resort. The rate is $189.00 plus 11.5% tax for single/double occupancy. A credit card deposit is required by the hotel to hold a reservation. Your card will be charged a one night room deposit of $210.74, on or after Sept. 25, 2007. Please note that the maximum number of occupants per room is four. The additional rate, for the third and fourth person, is $25.00, ages 18 years and up. |
How do I cancel my hotel reservation? Hotel policy requires you provide at least 72 hours notification in the event you need to reduce the number of nights reserved. |
| Can I stay at other hotels? There are no restrictions. However, customers last year found it beneficial to be at the same hotel as the conference and with other attendees. We do encourage you to stay at our host hotel, the Royal Pacific Hotel at Universal. Vertex has negotiated a discounted rate in anticipation that most attendees would stay at this hotel. |
Is Airport transportation provided? Shuttle services located offered outside of baggage claim offer a cost-effective way to get to the hotel. Vertex provides a $3 off coupon for Mears Shuttle Service. A round-trip ticket for the Mears Shuttle is $27, and if you use the coupon, its $24 per person. (download and print out the coupon) |

| How do I make a change to or cancel my registration? If you need to make a change, open your confirmation email, copy the confirmation code provided and click on the link as instructed. Once the window opens to your registration, you will need to paste the confirmation code into the box as requested. From there you will access your registration and can click on the appropriate link to make your changes. Please follow directions completely in order to save your changes. Upon completion, you will receive a new confirmation email reflecting the previous details AND the new details. If you are having problems, contact us at 866.912-7313 between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CDT. |

| If I want to extend my trip beyond the conference block of rooms, what is the process? Just place a request in the "special request" field of the hotel reservation and we will respond within 2 business days. |
| What is the cost for parking at the Royal Pacific? Self Park is $12.00 per day and Valet parking is available for $18.00 per day. |
| What if the course I want to take is full? Often a course is offered more than once, so please check to see if a second session is offered. If you still want to "wait list" yourself, you are welcome to do so. We will send you an email advising if a class opens up or if you are able to be confirmed a seat. You can also check for any last minute cancellations while onsite at the conference. |
| Where should I rent a car ? The Royal Pacific Resort has a Hertz car rental facility on their premises. There are many car rental options at the airport as well - shop around for the best rate. |
