Description
This course focuses on setting up and performing routine tasks that enable you to produce signature-ready tax returns and payment requests in Vertex Returns. Vertex Returns receives summarized sales and use transaction data from your financial application, Vertex Indirect Tax O Series for Sales Tax, Vertex Sales Tax Q Series register, or Vertex Sales Tax L Series register. It then processes the correct tax amounts and enters those tax amounts directly into exact replicas of tax return forms for both state and local taxing jurisdictions.

Requirements
You must be an employee of an active Vertex customer or Vertex partner company and have:
- Basic understanding of sales and use tax concepts
- Basic knowledge of your company's tax reporting requirements
- PC experience
- Working knowledge of Windows-based products
