Training - Exemption Certificate Manager (ECM) Basics
Program Content
During this two hour Web Class, you will learn how
to use Vertex ECM to automate the collection and maintenance
of sales tax exemption certificates. The webcast reviews
navigating in Vertex ECM, performing data entry, importing
data, and generating reminder letters.
Note: This course material may also be delivered at
your company’s location. Please contact your sales
representative for details on the onsite Vertex ECM course.

Prerequisites
It is recommended that
you have:
- PC experience
- Working knowledge of Windows-based products
- Basic understanding of sales and use tax concepts
- Basic knowledge of your company's tax reporting requirements

Learning Environment
The Vertex Web Class Series utilizes a combination of
Internet and telecommunication technologies to simulate a
traditional classroom environment. Attendees participate in
the hands-on, interactive sessions from their desktops. Instructors
deliver advanced product knowledge with visual displays, live
application demonstrations and interactive questions and answer
sessions.

ECM.
