This 90-minute web class will provide you with the information you need to leverage Vertex Reporting and Analysis 3.0 for your organization.

Topics discussed will include:

• Components and Workflow of Vertex Reporting and Analysis 3.0
• Using the Cognos Connection to run reports
• Running custom queries using the Query Studio

Advanced: This course provides users a comprehensive look at Vertex software data and configuration best practices.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the course, attendees will be able to:

• Describe the components that comprise Vertex Reporting and Analysis 3.0
• Run reports as a Consumer via the Cognos Connection
• Create and run custom queries using the Cognos Query Studio

Prerequisites
Current subscriber of Vertex Sales Tax O Series.
Note: Vertex Reporting and Analysis 3.0 is currently not available to Vertex Sales Tax L and Q Series customers.

It is recommended that you also have:

• PC experience
• Working knowledge of Windows-based products
• Basic understanding of sales and use tax concepts
• Experience running and interpreting the Vertex Sales Tax O Series standard reports

Advanced Preparation
There is no advanced preparation.

Learning Environment
The Vertex Web Classroom Series uses a combination of Internet and telecommunication technologies to simulate a traditional classroom environment. Attendees participate in the hands-on, interactive sessions from their desktops. Instructors deliver advanced product knowledge with visual displays, live application demonstrations, and interactive question-and-answer sessions.

Audience
The course is designed for users of both Vertex Sales Tax O Series who wish to use Vertex Reporting and Analysis 3.0.

Course Fee
The cost is $295.00 for each person in attendance.
