California Clarifies Definition of Motor Vehicles
Senate Bill 2092 amends Section 7205.1 of the Uniform Local Sales and Use Tax Laws to clarify that the definition of motor vehicles is limited to self-propelled passenger vehicles and pickup trucks rated less than one ton for the purpose of allocating local use tax imposed with respect to a lease of a new or used motor vehicle.
