Vertex HR Professional Named Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year
Mindy Geib honored for outstanding dedication to establishing employee programs
Berwyn, PA – May 25, 2010 – Mindy Geib, Human Resources Business Partner at Vertex Inc., the leading provider of enterprise corporate tax solutions, was recently named Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year for companies with 501-2000 employees by local chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Established in 2001, the award acknowledges those in the HR profession who exemplify outstanding achievement within the local human resources community. The award ceremony was held on May 13 at the Hyatt Regency at Penns Landing in Philadelphia. This is the second time that an HR professional from Vertex has been honored as Barbara Dyson, Vice President of Human Resources, received the award in 2008.
Geib joined Vertex in 2007 with over 15 years experience in Human Resources. Her extensive background includes positions in human resources at companies such as Lincoln Investment Planning, American Service Group/Prison Health, and Peninsula United Methodist Homes. She was recognized by the SHRM for her work on corporate policy authorship, establishing the High Five! recognition program, promoting flexible work arrangements, and co-founding the Vertex Women’s Leadership Forum.

Mindy holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Shippensburg University, has achieved Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). She is an active member and volunteer of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Greater Valley Forge Human Resources Association.
