Vertex CEO Jeff Westphal Earns Coveted Eastern Technology Council Enterprise Award

Recognized as Technology CEO of the Year at the 17th annual awards gala celebrating the Philadelphia region’s technology and life sciences leaders

Berwyn, PA – December 7, 2009 – Jeff Westphal, CEO of Vertex Inc., the leading provider of enterprise corporate tax solutions, was named 2009 Technology CEO of the Year at the 17th annual Eastern Technology Council Enterprise Awards last evening in Philadelphia. The annual event, celebrating the vitality of greater Philadelphia’s technology and life sciences communities, is the marquee business awards ceremony in the region.

The annual black tie gala draws hundreds of business leaders and executives, and features competitive awards in eight categories. Finalists and winners are selected from judging panels comprised of leaders in the technology and life sciences communities.
