News Brief: Industry Tax Expert, Chris Walsh provides professional insight on LexisNexis Tax Law Center

Chris Walsh, Vertex Chief International Indirect Tax Officer, recently provided his expertise and industry perspective, “VAT in the USA,” on the LexisNexis^® Tax Law Center. Walsh presented his thoughts on the concept of a National Sales Tax to combat the growing U.S. deficit and the pros and cons of implementing this additional tax system on top of the current tax laws. In addition, Walsh participated in a recent LexisNexis podcast on this topic, “National Sales Tax and Value Added Tax possibilities in the American tax regime.”
