Ric Andersen
Board Member
Ric Andersen joined the Vertex Board of Directors in February 2008. Ric has over 5 years of private equity experience and over 25 years of consulting and management experience at IBM, Price Waterhouse, and PwC Consulting. He is currently a partner at Milestone Partners, a Philadelphia-based private equity firm focused on the lower middle market. Prior to joining Milestone, he was a managing director at Silver Lake Partners, a technology-focused private equity firm based in New York.
During his 21 years with Price Waterhouse and PwC Consulting and 4 years at IBM, Ric was a senior partner, built and managed enterprise software/ERP businesses, as well as business process outsourcing operations. He spent much of his early career leading large scale business improvement programs for Fortune 500 companies in the technology sector, as well as other industries.
Ric is currently a director on the boards of two other privately held companies; ICC/Nexergy, Proton Media and the Barra Foundation, a large charitable foundation. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science from Bucknell University.
