Vertex® Sales Tax Training - L Series® for Tax
Vertex Sales Tax L Series is Vertex's legacy tax compliance system.
Vertes Sales Tax L Series receives transaction data from your host financial system and determines the correct tax amount by searching its data files for exceptions, the appropriate taxing jurisdiction, and the appropriate tax rate. Vertex Sales Tax L Series then calculates the tax amount and passes this information back to your host system for invoicing. The transaction data is stored in the Register file and is used to create audit and management reports, and to prepare tax returns.
We offer two Vertex Sales Tax L Series courses, the course described below is for Tax Professionals. Technology personnel responsible for supporting Vertex products can register for the course designed for System Implementers.
Please Note: This course is taught using the Cobol version of the Vertex Sales Tax L Series product. If you have the RPG version, the functionality that is discussed is the same but will be displayed differently.
