Official Sponsorships

Proud Sponsor of Breastcancer.org

Vertex is proud to sponsor Breastcancer.org, an organization committed to offering information and support for individuals battling breast cancer.

A Deep History
Vertex's involvement with this organization began with the pioneering work of Antoinette Westphal. Her husband Ray Westphal founded Vertex Inc. over 30 years ago and Antoinette was the company's first employee.

Antoinette joined Breastcancer.org as a member of the board of directors after facing her own personal battle with this disease. After Antoinette's passing, her daughter Amanda Westphal Radcliffe took on the mantle of her mother's work by filling her board seat at Breastcancer.org and further aiding the efforts of this organization.

As an official sponsor, Vertex hopes to further support Breastcancer.org and assist them in achieving their goal of helping breast cancer sufferers and their loved ones deal with the disease.

Vertex Helps Employees Help Others

Through our work/life balance program Vertex employees have the ability to give their time to charitable organizations to serve as volunteers or facilitators. This is one of the reasons Vertex has received the coveted "Best Places to Work" accolade in 2001 and 2002.
